Safe Mode Dad

Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026

This policy explains what information Safe Mode Dad collects, why, and what you can do about it. Safe Mode Dad is published by Core Labs Consultoria LTDA, Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil ("we"). Questions: privacy@safemodedad.com.

1. This site is for adults

Safe Mode Dad is written for parents and other adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. Sign-up forms, quizzes and purchases are for adults only. If you believe a child has given us personal information, email privacy@safemodedad.com and we will delete it.

2. What we collect

This site does not use advertising or analytics cookies.

3. How we use it

To send the newsletter you asked for, deliver what you bought, answer your messages, keep the site secure, and understand in aggregate which guides are useful. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Who we share it with

Only companies that provide a service to us, and only what that service needs: Cloudflare (hosting and security), Beehiiv (newsletter delivery) and Hotmart (checkout and payment). We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

5. Affiliate links

Some links go to products from which we may earn a commission. They are disclosed next to the link. When you click one, the destination site may set its own cookies under its own privacy policy.

6. Our publishing tool and third-party platform data

We schedule and publish our own posts with a self-hosted publishing tool at postiz.safemodedad.com. It is used only by Safe Mode Dad staff to manage Safe Mode Dad's own social accounts. It is not offered to the public.

YouTube. The tool uses YouTube API Services to upload videos to our YouTube channel and to read that channel's statistics. Use of YouTube API Services is subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. Through Google sign-in, the tool receives the name, email address and profile picture of the Google account that connects the channel, and access to the channel's videos and analytics.

TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and Threads. The tool uses each platform's official API to publish to our own accounts and to read those accounts' profile information and post statistics.

How this data is handled. Access tokens and account data are stored on our own server and are used only to publish our content and show us its results. We do not sell or share this data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to develop or train AI models. The tool does not read other people's accounts and does not automate likes, follows, comments or messages.

Our use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Removing access. Access can be revoked at any time from the Google account's third-party access page or from the equivalent settings page on each platform. Disconnecting an account in the tool deletes its stored tokens. To ask us to delete stored data, email privacy@safemodedad.com; we delete it within 30 days.

7. How long we keep it

Newsletter data until you unsubscribe. Order records for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Email correspondence for up to two years. Server logs for a short period set by our hosting provider.

8. Your choices and rights

Every newsletter has an unsubscribe link. You can ask us to tell you what we hold about you, correct it, delete it or send you a copy. Depending on where you live, laws such as Brazil's LGPD, US state privacy laws or the GDPR may give you additional rights, including the right to complain to a data protection authority. Email privacy@safemodedad.com; we answer within 30 days and will not treat you differently for asking.

9. Where data is processed

We are based in Brazil and our providers operate in the United States and other countries, so your information may be processed outside the country where you live.

10. Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, newsletter subscribers will be told by email.
